It’s amazing that a cow that started in this country with so little index potential,delivers so many top ranking graduates . BIGSKY  the second son we sampled from VANESSA (an Eland born in Italy member of Ivory Mark Family ), like his maternal brother SPARKLING  debuts as another breeding phenomenon. In fact not only he’s the New N°1 Milk Bull in Italy but with +2892 Kgs. milk deviation ( supported by an index of + 3011 Kgs made by his first 33 daughters in 2nd lactation)   he’s certainly the BEST MILK  IMPROVER  WORLDWIDE.In fact it exceeds the best MACE in Italy (Snowman) of 520 liters and the best three milk bulls with daughters in Italy:Blitz (his sire),Planet and Marion of 796,844 and 896 kilos respectively!




At +2120 BIGSKY also ranks among Italy’s top 20 PFT and  is over +2.50 in Type,Mammary and Feet&Legs, 107 Somatic Cell, 113 Longevity, with calves that are born easily (103).

Goldsun: Up to 2631 PFT with 4.15 on Type and 4.92 Mammary (1905 TPI, 3.83 PTAT, 4.22 UDC).Absolute No.1 for Type,Udder and the second best bull in Italy for longevity and is one of best for somatic cell too.Goldsun is definitely not only a good show bull.
Sparkling: number 2 bull in Italy with 2779 PFT (2054 TPI 2.75 PTAT). One of the highest proven Goldwyn sons in the world.

Springson: increasing to 2236 PFT,+845 milk and positive in both fat and protein (1866 TPI, +2.17PTAT) with now over 100 daughters in his proof.

HIS TIME HAS COME! And it came sooner  than expected…after only a year since graduating from our young sire program!!  We’re talking about GOLDSUN, that together with his sire Goldwyn,  were the real protagonists of the2011  Italian National Show at Cremona ; for the first time in 60 years of the show,  a bull was able to present three milking progeny test daughters and win; GOLDSUN did it !!!.

 ALBASSE GOLDSUN OSTRICA (VG 89-3yrs) is now 1st in the Senior 3 yrs Old Class - Intermediate Champion and Honorable Mention of the Show, she comes from a VG85 Mtoto dam; VALENTINA (VG 89-3  yrs) went third (G+82 Jocko dam) and COL.MAR GOLDSUN ERIKA (VG 88- 3 yrs) ( G+82 Cocherell dam) gained the sixth position in the most competitive 3 year Senior category ever seen at the Italian National since years. They're all from PROGENY TESTS and come from SMALL FARMS like most of you have, they went to BIGGER SHOW STRINGS  because of the interest in GOLDSUN’s outstanding Type and Udder Index. In addition his Dam Allen Amyly is Reserve Champion of the 6 & older Cows Class at 9 yrs of age. Please take a look at the new pictures of his three daughters at the show

Whoever said a show cow can’t make an A.I. graduate was wrong. The July round of Italian genetic evaluation has revealed jet another  graduate from a Super Show Cow. This exciting Shottle is indeed from the top of Pala Family known for elite type, components and fitness traits through the Madison Show Winner and All American 2007 (Ex.95-3E-GMD DOM) Windy-Knoll Outside Pledge that is dam of 7 Excellent daughters to date also.

Despite 78 daughters in 54 herds in his first proof, SPRINGSON just missed the reliability cut for the top 50 PFT list but with his solid production, type and fitness traits  he should easily be on top of the list in November. With no-holes transmitting pattern, attractive sire stack and superb female line, Springson is an easy bull to like and surely one of the best Shottle worldwide available today.

Structurally, his daughters are very sound, very roomy  heifer with lot of depth , openness of ribs and length through the girth area. Very productive heifers  that will be in the herd for a long, long time

For those who know, GOLDSUN since his first appearance generated a great hype around him.

It’s a quite normal thing nowadays but now, in his third evaluation, confirms that the buzz he generated is becoming a solid reality. In fact Goldsun, with more daughters, continues his dominance as one of the highest-rated Type and Udder sires in the Holstein Breed today exceeding + 4.00 on Type and being still the N° 1 Udder Composite , Daughter Pregnancy Rate and Productive Life sire among the top 1% bulls for PFT in Italy. He is one of the best if not the best and most complete Goldwyn son worldwide .  The bull that we have all been waiting for.

Ricky, from Pen-Col Elevation Destiny Cow Family the same of the current n° 1 GTPI bull O-Style, is a little bit different Goldwyn showing lot of Mtoto influence in his transmitting pattern.

His daughters exhibit average stature, good strength, correct capacity, correct slope and width to the rump, perfect feet and legs that require trimming once in a blue moon,tremendous bone quality and pleasing udders. Cows one never notice unless they have to go dry, Ricky daughters produce lot of milk, breed back easily, maintain extremly healthy, pleasing udders and display everything you’re looking for in a modern dairy operation.
